I haven't been updating much, but I decided I might as post picture, art, etc. that inspire me.

The reason I purchased the Diana+ was to take "dreamy" soft pictures, here the model is my boyfriend! ;)

Also as I had mentioned in posts before about changing my lifestyle to a healthier one, so far i've been successful! I've lost 11.8 pounds without depriving myself at all, feels good when you have control over your life!

Well as some may have read from a past post I was on a mission to getting my self healthy, and I have news. So I have been doing good on my plan, and yes I did join weight watchers and started moving more. So far I have lost 7.4 pounds in 3 weeks! And there is no depriving myself, with weight watchers Im keeping track of what I eat, but it is not a diet of any sort.

I got an internship as a fashion writer for a local magazine, and I am so excited!

I was inspired by the artist on my last post and by so many beautiful illustrations I have seen that I am working on a project, which should be done in a few days.

Here is my looklet today, I wanted to make her look like a bad girl, I think the sunglasses and backround really achieve that bad girl status, plus the daring outfit (Pantie).

Sporty Jacket, girly outfit

I was inspired by this Lela Rose spring 2010 runway look, and created my own version of it! I work at forever21 and I loved that vilolet jacket once I saw it! The sporty hunter jackets are perfect with girly pieces, In this case the skinny belt would be wrapped around over the jacket and dress!
I got today off of work, I am kind of glad especially because it has been raining! Two days ago I was driving in the freeway when a red car in the left lane next to me skidded and did a complete 180! It was scary to watch, I want the storm to be over! It is sooo dangerous!

Yesterday was my first day of school :) I love my merchandising class, I know it will be a great learning experience and fun! My instructor is Korean and also teaches at the art institutes where she is head of the fashion department, she started working as a buyer in Escada and helped launched stores in Asia, but then she moved here and had other jobs in the industry.

Tomorrow I have 2 more classes which are fashion history and fashion show production, which we get to put together a fashion show in may! :)

trail ride

This is the only outfit picture I took this week for work, most of these come out without shoes cause I usually don't put them on until I'm about to leave..especially cause my mom yells at me if I'm all over my room with shoes on! I would really love to have a tile or wooden floor!

So on Monday I went to my local walmart to pick up my gazelle! It was a bit confusing to put it together at first but i got the hang of it! And I also ended up cutting my finger on a raw metal edge, and as i found out today I also had a splinter, and it was a piece of metal from my gazelle!

I quickly went on just to take a snapshot! I have read really good reviews which was also a reason that led me to buy it! look how quickly my legs where moving!
I didn't expect for it to come with a timer, distance monitor and calories burnt, but its great!


well here is my looket, i was inspired this week by what I did at work. I helped merchandise a zone for floorsets and our zone was a trail ride, think of "Legends of the Fall" and "Little house on the Praire"
Next week I start school! I can't wait to start, yes I am excited especially because im starting at a new college!

Updateees

I have been meaning to upload these, so now they are kind of old, they were all taken before i left to work, this last one was on black friday...which was my craziest schedule ever i worked at my first job 12am to 7am and my second job from 10am to 6pm.

two retail jobs during holiday season sucks so much, i had very little sleep and felt horrible working up to 16 hours in a day!!

SO school is starting in 2 weeks, I am excited! Im trying to get a merchandising position at my job, which is forever 21, so hopefully I can work as a visual!!

I am starting to save so that by spring break I can go vacation in mexico. I really miss the beaches over there and the bars and clubs!


So in order for me to look my best I bought an exercise equipment, im pretty sure we all remember tony littles infomercials on the gazelle!



I bought it for $80 at walmart.com along with free site to store shipping! I love the idea of watching tv and beining on this machine, I already watch tv, so I might as well excercise while watching it. Plus I can be more motivated instead of having to get ready to go for the gym or charging my ipod to go running, i can just walking into my living room hope on the gazelle and watch tv!

I am also planning on joining weight watchers this week, I read about it and the POINTS plan sounds good and great for when you want to have more control on what you are taking in. I will definitly be updating about everything, my first meeting is this thursday and hopefully by next week I will have my gazelle!

Holiday season is soo crazy, especially for me who now works in two retail stores. I just got a second job and now my days are filled with work and being sleepy! I can't wait to get back to school, and I definitely cannot wait until holiday season is overrrrrr!

Here is another look I styled, I was inspired by contrast. The softness of the pink pastel sweet and I really wanted to make a look with a rebellious edge, so i added the leather jacket and boots.

So I had obviously taken a break from blogging, things just ended up getting busy! I have two jobs now and school, It wont be like this for long, but I will be getting back onto blogging. So I found this website thanks to another blogger and I styled together this look:

Today I attended Lasa's one year anniversary fashion show, Lasa's Accessories came to be a year ago when two sibilings, Susan and Alvaro, decided to start selling fashion accessories. I was introduced to Susan and she was very sweet and friendly, I love that they provide fashion forward accessories at great prices. I bought a purse for $10 and a ring
for $11!

So I began having breakouts at around age 16, I remember I came back from vacationing in December and that's when it all started!
This product has worked great for me, I went into sephora one day and asked the lady if there was any particular brand that customers said they have seen improvements, so she pointed out this kit and a Murad one. I chose this one because of the variety of ingredients: Salicylic acid in cleanser, Benzoyl peroxide gel, and sulfer mask.
I have been using it for about 3 weeks and the redness has gone away and also my blemishes, I doesn't dry out my skin too much since I have oily skin, and the matte lotion has spf 15 since skin will become more sensitive to the sun when using the gel.


Have you seen the video of how Kanye rudely interupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech?
He did, this was Taylor's first VMA and he ruined it.
"Taylor, I'm really happy for you, I'm-a gonna let you finish,but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!"

And now he is feeling bad about it and has apologized for the 3rd time, saying he will take time for reflection.

Today marks the beginning or NY fashion week, and Fashion's night Out, I can only wish I were there.
I am honestly waiting to see Mara Hoffman's collection, especially seeing her work coming from cultural inspirations.

saturday, san francisco

This is the only picture I took of San Francisco, sorry I forgot to take out my camera until we were on our way home! :S
So my mom and I went to the city to go tour a school I am considering, The Academy of Art University! I enjoyed the tour, they have a lot of tools necessary! Rooms filled with sewing machines and pressing tables along with big working tables, rooms for textiles, rooms for knit with two huge purple monsters for those interested in knit design, a huge room filled with macs, a gallery showcasing student work, and a lot more to offer! I only visited 2 of the 13 buildings they have around San Francisco!

This is my outfit for the day, I tried to dress a bit warm since it is always cool in San Francisco. We got lucky because it was a nice day and the weather was a little warm, my mom and I left right after speaking to an adviser because I had to be at work at 4, but we will hopefully be going very soon!

This week was one of my craziest week ever, I had school monday through saturday and worked 5 days this week so I felt so stressed and deprived of sleep! Thank goodness for weekends.

New Armory

Then I became more interested when I saw Alexis Bittar's resort collection. Alexis Bittar started selling his own line at age 20 in New York's SOHO and today his work is sold worldwide.

Punk purse

I just purchased my first Marc Jacobs and I cant wait to get it.
Well it was a good price that I paid, $40.

I am tired today I started school at 9 and got out at 3 then I had work from 4 to 10, so I feel like I had absolutely no time for myself ): tomorrow I have school from 7:45 to 12 but I will definitely post something new, I just had to share this!

New Room + get to know me

Old room....New room.

Here is the icky mess my room was in before, a yellow on the walls I didn't want, and unorganized and lifeless! So I did already start putting items away in boxes, but it still looks like how it was.

I managed to clear away almost everything, we did paint it with this furniture still in room, but without the bed of course.What lovely job my boyfriend did! don't you think? I love the pink!

This is where I put all my Eau de Toilette and body lotions + jewelry box my dad had given me.

I bought these shelves at Ikea.
